Secondmind joins Tech Nation Future Fifty 2024 cohort of leading UK scaleups
Secondmind has been selected to join the prestigious Tech Nation Future Fifty 2024, the only UK-wide accelerator program tailored to late-stage ventures. As one of the UK’s most respected and influential programmes for digital/tech-enabled businesses, Future Fifty empowers its cohort to scale from Series B+ to unicorn, IPO and beyond. Secondmind’s recognition follows a transformative year, marked by an expanded strategic partnership with Mazda Motor Corporation, a new investment round and several industry awards.
Joining the Future Fifty programme places Secondmind among esteemed alumni including Riverlane, Wayve, Darktrace, PolyAI and ao.com. The programme focuses on themes of access and growth. It equips high-potential companies with extensive resources and opportunities, fostering invaluable relationships amongst the cohort, alumni and wider UK technology ecosystem of top-tier investors, policymakers and potential customers.
This announcement follows a milestone 12 months for Secondmind which included the extension of a multi-year strategic partnership with Mazda Motor Corporation, a $16m investment round, new customer wins and several international awards for automotive, AI and engineering excellence for its market-leading products. Participating in the Future Fifty program will catalyze Secondmind efforts to advance and scale its cloud-native system design and calibration products which empower automotive engineers with state-of-the-art Active Learning to accelerate the design and development of more sustainable, software-defined vehicles.
